Are these classes suitable for a "gentle yoga" senior citizen's needs? RB

Hi Rebecca. Many classes included in this pass are for beginners, are level 1 yoga or include gentle yoga poses. Thanks!

Do you have to be a member of the gyms listed to use this Groupon at their facility? Also, isn't Max Life a supplement store? Do they have a space for yoga/fitness or is this a sales pitch? Thanks.

Robin M. asked 8 months, 15 days, and 43 minutes ago - 1 answer

MetaBody T.

Hi Robin. No, you don't have to be a member of the gyms or pay any additional fees. Max Life has two gyms in the Des Moines area where they run amazing classes, like kickboxing and kettle bell strength training. This pass is great for trying out multiple locations and different class types you haven't done in the past, feel free to check it out! Thanks and enjoy.

Do you offer yoga for children age 10?

andrea f. asked 8 months, 15 days, 9 hours, and 27 minutes ago - 1 answer

MetaBody T.

Hi Andrea. We don't have any children-specific yoga classes, although there are yoga classes for beginners. Every studio has different rules and regulations that they follow but as a general rule, those 16 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. Thanks and enjoy!

I'm interested only in yoga. I have had hip/knee surgery and surgeon suggests yoga. Is it possible to get 30 sessions of just yoga? How many places will I have to drive to? Is it possible to stay at one place if I like it and become adjusted there? I'm almost 80 years old and have doctor's permit to do yoga.

Judith G. asked 8 months, 16 days, 3 hours, and 21 minutes ago - 1 answer

MetaBody T.

Hi Judith. This pass is for 30 classes with 5 or 10 classes per location. So, if you want to use the total 30 classes you would have to drive to 3 different locations. Fitness World West, Harmony Yoga and Fitness World Ankeny all offer yoga class, so you can use 10 classes at each except at Harmony Yoga where you can use 5. This would be 25 classes of just yoga. If you like the studio, you are welcome to stay there and buy a membership or arrange with them to take more classes past the ones available in this pass. This pass is ideal for trying out multiple studios to see which ones you like the best or suit you. Thanks and enjoy!

Please clarify what the '30 class pass' is and the 'limit 10 classes per location'. Does this mean you need to go to three locations to get the 30 classes?

Eileen N. asked 8 months, 16 days, 7 hours, and 39 minutes ago - 1 answer

MetaBody T.

Hi Eileen. That is correct. The pass is for 30 classes with 5 or 10 classes per location. Therefore, you can go to multiple locations to use your total 30 classes. This is a great opportunity for you to try studios you haven't had a chance to check out yet, and experiment with multiple class types like yoga, kickboxing, boot camp, and more with just one pass!! Thanks and enjoy.
