After the 6 treatments is the hair re-growth typically* in remission for life? (*since you said you occasionally need repeat a treatment 2nd to hormones, etc) 2. What are the affects to the skin?? does it increase rate of epithelia cell turn over, etc? decrease sebaceous gland secretions? what does the research say? thank you

Hi Angela - Typically once the hair is gone, its gone. But there is that occassional hair that is considered a "new" hair due to hormones, etc. I guarantee the treatments and will comp additional treatments if needed. The affect to the skin can be redness and edema and sometimes you get a slight bump that resembles a shaving bump, which actually is a good thing and indicates successful termination. it does not affect the gland itself. I will be going on vaction in March and will be tanning. Is this a problem if I am having the laser treatment?

Tanning should be avoided during the treatments.

Ive been looking at this for a long time and this seems like the perfect time. How long do you have to let the hair grow out before it can have its first treatment? then how long till the hair is gone?

Hi Michele! I only need about a weeks growth, just so its visible but not too long. The laser light goes to the hair bulb so growth isn't an issue. It usually takes 6 treatments, every 6 weeks. So if you start immediately you will probably be good for summer!

It depends on area. Small, max 15 minutes, Medium/large approx 30 minutes. Extra large - allow an hour to an hour and a half. Especially if ifs for a larger person.

Will the medium face treatment include both the chin and lip area?

Its not listed as so, but I am willing to do both at medium area price. If you purchase the medium, when you make an appt, mention that you want your chin and lip area done at the medium deal. I already let my front desk know. :-)

Large would be lower back, upper back, bikini and lower legs. Extra large would be if we did your entire back, entire legs, entire arms or chest.

Syneron DS is the laser used. There is a lifetime guarantee for laser hair removal. Alot of times a new hair will come in due to hormones and sometimes an additional treatment will be needed after the initial six. I do not charge for these.
