Flights are offered Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from sunrise to sunset. Videos and ground school prep budding aerialists for a hands-on lesson in hang-gliding in which an instructor and trainee coast on the wind at heights of more than 1,500 feet—higher than the Empire State Building. During the flight, the instructor hands over the hang glider's controls to the pupil, which allows the student to test out steering skills as the instructor catches up on yesterday's crossword puzzle.
