Mid City Gym

Since 1962, trainers at Mid City Gym have been demonstrating bicep curls and crunches for their clientele, which—according to staff—have included celebrities such as Hulk Hogan, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. While expert trainers dispense one-on-one encouragement or lead group fitness sessions with ropes, logs, and kettlebells, other exercisers workout on cardio and strength-training equipment. Post-workout, members may opt to get a golden glow with sessions inside Hex tanning booths.
