$10 for $20 Worth of Sushi and Japanese Food

The menu features spicy tuna tataki ($14.95), surf-clam sushi ($3.95), specialty rolls such as the spicy scallop ($6.95), and entrees such as udon noodles with shrimp tempura ($10.95).

Mijuri Sushi Bar & Grill

The chefs at Mijuri Sushi Bar & Grill craft traditional cooked Japanese entrees alongside coils of sushi and sashimi. Slices of super-white tuna and octopus join a list of 50 maki rolls, such as the Tuna Fever and the Imperial Guard roll, whose army of shrimp tempura, avocado, and eel maintains a stony expression at all times. The Mijuri chefs also sauté fried rice with mushrooms and steak and slow-grill yakitori-style tofu and scallops over a Japanese wood charcoal grill. Desserts such as mochi ice cream and strawberry ice cake help top off each meal.

The Groupon Guide to: Barbershop Chatter

The barbershop has gained a reputation for being the place to go for listening to all sorts of lively chatter. Here's a sampling of what you might hear your barber say next time you get a haircut:

  • "Take 2 inches off the top? Yep, that's something I can do when these casts come off."

  • "I've been thinking about labeling the scissor jar 'Scissors' and the comb jar 'Not Scissors.' Thoughts?"

  • "Ha! No, this isn't the kind of barbershop that sweeps up the hair clippings."

  • "Someone stole all of our magazines, but you can read this letter I've been meaning to send to my estranged wife."

  • "Welcome to the barbershop, where men are kings and kings are giants and giants are half off before noon."

Why are barbershops called "listen holes"?

Reviews

  • They have a laid back atmosphere and awesome food. I also find they aren't as high priced as some of the other places.

  • The menu is unique - with a variety of different maki rolls that I have never seen before, as well as the typical maki rolls with an interesting twist.
