Dean- Children are not allowed on the this Happy Hour Cruise, and adults and seniors get bottomless margaritas for the entire cruise! Therefore, it is a pretty good deal!

On which days is this groupon valid, then? There are no ‘no children allowed’ cruises listed. As stated on the Groupon site, it is good. But there seems to be some limitations are are not listed.

Happy-hour cruises depart at 6:00 p.m. and run through Labor Day. This Groupon is only valid for Tuesday through Friday cruises.
Dean- In the fine print it says "Must be at least 21 with a valid photo ID. " Therefore, it is not valid for children, or those under 21.

That means children can’t drink the margaritas. No where does it say children can go on the cruise. I’m going to buy two anyway.

Question – it says one per person but you can buy others for gifts. So you can buy multiple tickets – but do they check your name somehow that you can only take one cruise the whole summer? Slightly confusing.
I get what Dean is asking and there does need to be clarification. The Groupon ad says you must be 21 or over to attend; however, on the mkeboat.com website, the happy hour cruise is advertised for all ages. So if he or I choose to go on a cruise on any particular day, will there or will there not be children on the boat?? If the Happy Hour cruise is truly 21 or over, then the website needs to be corrected to reflect that.

Alicia and Dean- The Groupon deal today is $10—which includes the boat cruise and the margaritas. Children are allowed to go on the cruise but their tickets are only $7 and through Milwaukee Boat Line. It would be better for you to purchase your children’s tickets not on Groupon.

I am still a bit confused with this limit one per person, BUT feel free to buy more for friends and family. Do we have to specify people’s names when we buy the tickets? If you are required to show your name/Groupon number with each tickets, what are our friends who are not members of Groupon supposed to do? I have friends coming in from out of town, and I think this would be a fun trip, but I want to make sure that we can all use the tickets before I buy them. Thanks
Jena R- When you go to “buy” this Groupon make sure you click on “Give this Groupon as a gift.” This way you can enter your friends names on the Groupon voucher.

Lori-You can purchase all 4 under your name and bring your 3 other guests with you with them all printed out. Milwaukee Boat Line can see that you only purchased one for yourself and the rest are for your guests.

Could this Groupon be applied toward a fireworks cruise?…. NO it can’t… Good god Chris read the words before wasting peoples time.
Erik C- They do have beer but you can purchase on the cruise and it cannot be used in lieu of the margaritas.

The price of $10.00 includes both the cruise and unlimited Margaritas ? Or must you purchase the drinks seperately, and then you get free re-fills ? Is there a snack menu I and others could view ? Sounds like a good deal either way, I just want to be prepared.
Wes- The price includes the cruise and margaritas. There are snacks, beer, and soda for half off on the cruise but unfortunately I do not have a menu, sorry!

I just want to make sure about this-I purchased 2 tickets (date night with hubby)-both have my name on it-when we decide to use the tickets-will we have any problems since my husband’s name is not on the other ticket??
Seriously Katie, this same question was already asked today, the answer is up above this very page. Not only are the deals on Groupon great, but the reading this area is very entertaining.

I just want to be sure as above. I too, am planning on 3 out of town guests, but not exactly sure who they will be. So you are saying that i can purchase the 4 tickets and then just bring them all the day that we go, and they will have an id and it still will be able to be used. I don’t want these obviously all for just myself.

Ok, the horse is dead i understand but since this is real money we are dealing with i still have a question.
I have 10 friends that i want to go on a cruise at the same time. If i buy 11 with my name on them and in the fine print it says “Limit 1 per person, may buy multiple as gifts.” This could be taken as you can buy one for yourself and then buy the other 10 as gifts with their name on them. I just want to make sure that since the initial information about the kids was not correct that the information that the boat crews will OK the use of multiplies under one name is correct. Thank you in advance for checking with the boat company.
sorry came up with another question. Is this just a special deal for people who buy these coupons as i can not see the bottomless deal mentioned on the boats website. Hope someone from the company can answer today.

Here’s another question for you: I purchased 4 of these tix, intending to go on outings with my girlfriend on two separate occasions over the summer. But I’m afraid I goofed up by not designating two of the tix as gifts for her use. With four tix in my name, can we go once with her as my guest, and a second time with me as her guest? I hope I hope I hope. Thanks!

Libby, I understand reservations are required, but just found out that we have to make the reservation online through their website, which is not stated anywhere. I was also a little bit disappointed to find that there was an additional $1 convenience charge, since this was not listed as part of the Groupon terms. Granted it is only $1, but that makes the Groupon not much of a difference to just a full priced ticket.

Ok so it is good til November, just can’t figure out where to enter the info on the website.
I just went on the cruise Friday, the 18th of June, and it was awesome! The margaritas were great, nice and strong, and everyone who had a groupon stamp on their had got at least 2 or 3. Children were allowed, they just didn’t get any alcohol. We went right after the rain, and the chairs were a little wet, but didn’t stop us. My only wish was to hear about the sites that we passed, but after the second margarita I didn’t care. If you are not into margaritas, they have plenty of other drinks all at the special happy hour price.
I thought that the boat tour was a great deal and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed the whole experience!
I’m pissed to find them charging a convenience charge now that I go to use the groupon. That’s kind of bullshit.
I called the boat company today. The woman that answered said the $1.00 convenience fee isn’t really a convenience fee, but covers sales tax because Groupon doesn’t support a way for them to collect sales tax. She said that they would charge the same even if the tickets were purchased in person. I think it’s a b/s answer, but what can you do. Still a good deal and looking forward to it. The only stinker is that I’m out $6 for my five friends and I to go because I’m not going to be pathetic and ask them each for a buck.
I went on the cruise Friday 8/20 and I wasn’t impressed. But then I realized for 10 bucks it was worth it. It would have been a lot better if everyone didn’t get soaked from the pouring rain. Lower part of the boat got crowded real quick. At the end I felt better about the entire thing, maybe it was the margaritas. I have more groupons to use so i’ll do it again.

Thursday’s weather was perfect AND I didn’t see anyone under 21 !
I only saw snacks like chips & beef jerky, so don’t expect much
in that regard. Loved the ride.

Another confused groupon goupie here. So looking at my groupons it says the expiration date is Nov 2010 but reading the info it looks like it was only running until Labor Day? I haven’t used my groupons yet! Please tell me I can still use them!
