Every Wednesday from March 13 through May 29, guests jump behind the bar at The Grid during two-hour mixology boot camps led by mixing experts. Students learn to master popular drinks and perform impressive moves, then leave with notes and recipes to continue practicing at home. Classes run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Chicago Mixology – The Grid runs cocktail-crafting lessons and events throughout the city, passing on quaffable wisdom to budding bartenders and savvy hosts. Its roster of upcoming classes gives students the opportunity to learn cocktail staples and invent their own recipes—with input from industry professionals—in venues that range from local bars to Loop lounges and the Andersonville alleyway that conceals a portal to Narnia. In their residency at The Grid, skilled drink slingers encourage students to slide in behind the elegant, dramatically lit bar to practice techniques and master signature recipes in a real-world pub.
