Can we use this in the boston location?
I am wondering the same thing about the Boston location or is this only for the salon in NY? (Fingers crossed)
Does this include a style/blowout or just shampoo and cut?

Laurie this cannot be used toward anything but the Cut & Style with Angela and unfortunately Christina and Kara this cannot be used at the Boston location but maybe they will feature the other salon soon, I told the Boston team you guys asked! How come this cut and style can only be done with Angela? Is she new to the salon? Is this like a stylist in training haircut?
Can the groupon for the cut/style be used WITH the side deal? that’d be awesome…

Yes the Groupon for the Cut/Style with Angela can be used with the Coloring Side Deal with Miguel or Suzette. Just make sure you mention the Groupon when booking your appointment. Enjoy!
This groupon expires at the end of November. How are 170+ people going to be able to get convenient appointments with only 1 person over the next 90 days?
Why can this only be used with Angela? From what I’ve read on Yelp she has gotten nothing but bad reviews! Shouldn’t we get a choice between two different stylists like you have for the hair coloring?
Does style and cut include blow dry?

-Guys can use this Groupon as well as ladies
-Angela is a more than capable stylist that has been cutting hair for 6 years and she can do 8-10 Cut & Styles a day, so there should be no problem getting a timely appointment.
-This does include the Blow Dry

Just read a pretty sketchy review of this hairdresser at Mizu, and the salon overall only has 6 ratings. Have to assume at least 3 of them are from friends. I’ve learned the hard way never to skimp on a good haircut.
Thanks for the discussion info! As a result of finding out the groupon was only valid for ONE sylist, I decided to cancel. I love groupons but have to say I will be much more careful the next time — the fact that only one stylist can be used with the groupon should have been included with the deal info!

Used by Mizo Groupon for a cut and color. Very disappointing. For the color, I asked Miguel to touch up my roots. He didn’t match the color properly, so now my roots are a couple shades lighter than the rest of my hair. For my cut, Angela hardly touched my head. There was no personal evaluation of what cut would be best for my face or anything that was advertised. For a Park Avenue salon, I expected MUCH higher quality. One compliment though, Scarlett (Angela’s assistant) was very good with the blow dryer. I spent more time with Scarlett than anyone else. I do not recommend offering this Groupon again.

weird that this has gotten such negative feedback. i went to mizu last week and i thought angela did an awesome job on me. i’ve been getting great feedback from a whole bunch of people. the place is pretty new in new york so i guess it doesn’t have much of a reputation but i had a really good experience there. i didn’t feel any selling pressure at the end and she told me that she does free trims between cuts.
I had a similar experience to Amy. I made my appt with Angela, and with my natural curly hair, she told me what she couldn’t do. Then she “got” me, that I wanted to look funky, and she gave me a terrific haircut where I look lighter, my hair moves, I have long tendrils, and most importantly, I look and feel mahvelous. I’m hooked on Angela. Thank you Groupon, Mizu, and Angela!
I just used mine yesterday and also had a good experience with Angela. I wonder if it’s because we both have curly hair? I would definitely go back to Angela for my haircuts.
I went into this uptight and really worried that they would do me in… Angela knew exactly what to do and she did it so well that I didn’t know it right away, but the compliments are still coming in and it is 5 months…. I am going to return to her for hair cuts as I believe she understands and can see what a look will be when it is complete andhas the ability to work very well with long hair providing a clean shape and style. Also at Mizu the blow dry and products usage is included. All in all a great Groupon experience
