Moksa

Styled after a Japanese Izakaya—or a drinking establishment that also serves pairing meals—Moksa is the stage for Noon Inthasuwan, who was named the city's best mixologist in 2012 by The Improper Bostonian. Her arsenal of specialty cocktails, such as the Silver Peony sake cocktail with cucumber and lavender silver needle tea, all tease the palate more pleasantly than a shot of boiled nail polish. Chefs complement these drinks with dishes that draw inspiration from across Asia, including rolls of sushi, Japanese-style curries, Thai chicken fried rice, and Kung Pao angel hair pasta.
