Using Sciton Profile and Lumenis One lasers, registered nurses target unwanted body hair. Sessions are as short as 15 minutes for smaller areas and last up to an hour on large areas, but many clients find treatment times decrease with each appointment as the overall amount of hair diminishes. At least six treatments are recommended for optimal results.

Scott Crawford, Massage Therapist at Montecito Aesthetic Institute, Inc.

In Scott Crawford's world, fitness is everything. First drawn to the importance of healthy living during a soccer career that would see him play professionally, Scott's interest initially centered on staying fit enough to take the pitch. However, he also found himself intrigued by the psychological side of wellness. This curiosity led him to earn degrees in psychology and study in Ph.D. programs for somatic and sports psychology. Along the way, he never neglected his physical side; after his playing career ended, he earned a slew of training certifications. Soon, he held licenses in personal training, bodywork, and yoga from governing bodies ranging from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Stott Pilates to The Body Therapy Institute the White Lotus Foundation.

After cutting his teeth as a trainer at exclusive clubs and resorts throughout Texas and California, Scott finally blended his twin interests, founding SOMA Get Fit in 2007. There, he earned renown by devising custom-tailored wellness programs that combine goal-specific training with a holistic blend of mental-wellness counseling, Pilates, yoga, and nutrition education. Depending on his initial consultations, clients might sweat through adventurous sessions of beach and mountain training, ramble across forest paths on mountain bikes, or work their way through overnight retreats. This all-encompassing approach earned him a star-studded client list; past participants in his sessions include Calvin Klein, Michael Jordan, and Katy Perry. The press caught wind of his work, too, with glowing reviews appearing in the pages of Marie Claire, Sunset, and the Hollywood Reporter.

Now working with the Montecito Aesthetic Institute, Scott delivers his signature massages and bodywork treatments to clients within the center's tranquil modern treatment rooms.

The Groupon Guide to: Escaping a Glass Prison Cell

With new weird laws constantly being passed, there's a good chance you'll probably be convicted of an obscure crime and sentenced to imprisonment in a large glass holding cell. Here's how you can get out:

  • Glass will melt at a certain temperature, but why bother going through all that trouble when you can just break it by throwing yourself against one of the walls?

  • Look around for structural weaknesses. If you can't find any, you're not looking hard enough because that holding cell is composed of large pieces of easily breakable glass.

  • Turn around and pick up that 40-pound sledgehammer that's been sitting in the corner this entire time. When your adrenaline starts pumping from lifting that heavy sledgehammer, put it back down and use that adrenaline surge to propel your body straight through the glass.

  • In movies, people are always shattering nearby drinking glasses and windows by singing in an unbearably high pitch. Do the same thing, but instead of singing, just use any solid part of your body to smash that glass!

When is your town getting a glass prison?
