Hi, I’m new to Groupon. The deal says limit to 1 person, but can buy multiple gifts. Does this mean only 1 person can stay in the B&B or is it good for two people or do I need to buy another Groupon?
Hey Amanda, from my understanding and one of the groupon people who post here to answer questions will tell us if I’m wrong :) but it also says “Limit 1 per reservation”. The cottage I looked at was close to the 230 mark and it says on their website “All Rates are double occupancy”.
So I imagine the limit 1 per person means you can only do this deal yourself one time. But their reservations include two.
When do we have to use this Groupon by? Is it good for a year?
The reservation would be for two people…I clicked to make reservation for 2 people and also for one person (it was the same price regardless). It is $25 additional for each person (I’m guessing over two people). The Groupon is good until Jan. 31st, 2011. And, if you stay in Dec./Jan., you get free champagne and glasses! Too bad I was planning on staying in Oct.!
So does this deal include any room or cottage? I noticed some of the regular priced rooms are already $99
Okay, so since the experation is in January, and we can’t use it on weekends when there’s a game, how are all of us Groupon people supposed to get reservations in less than four months. We all know there’s several home football games during that time frame…
the expiration is for january 2011 not 2010 so you have over a year.
January 2011 is in a few months.
Exactly, we’re in the year 2010, and when we hit Jan. 1st, it’s 2011….So, yes, it’s around four months. Over a hundred people have purchased. Good luck getting a reservation. Better call now! I think I’ll pass on this one. I’d do it if I had a year to use it.

@Jared – There is no 2 night minimum
@Amanda – you may only use this Groupon once. You do not need to buy 2 Groupons unless you would like 2 nights.

I just dont understand this. There are over 200 sold but only 4 months until it expires. How can this work??
May the expiration date of January 31, 2011 means that reservations must be made by January 31, 2011, not necessarily used by then. I agree, if the certificate requires that the overnight stay be booked and used before January 31, 2011, there is not enough time for all of us who want to purchase this and those who already have to book our night since most will need a weekend to use it. Eliminate the weekends that OU plays at home and we have very little time to use this. I am reluctant to buy this unless someone from Groupon contacts someone at the Bed and Breakfast to clarify this issue.
What about 2 nights? Do you get the discount price of $198 for both nights with the groupon. Also, are there any cottages that allow small dogs that are house broken? Do you have a list for which week-ends have home games? Thank you.
Check out their current prices. If given some of the rooms or cottages, it’s not really a bargain. Be careful. May be able to negotiate a better deal after January.
I am wondering how they are going to be able to schedule as many people that have already purchased the groupon. I would not want to end up with one of the rooms that are about $99 anyway and not get one of the cottages because there are none available. I thought about giving this as a gift for Christmas, but what if they cannot get a night before January 2011, 4 months away. Please extend the expiration time.
They just had this offer recently. What about all those people that have not even scheduled their stay. Do they just loose their $99 groupon??

I called to make my reservation. They have 6 cottages and 10? rooms. My date was available for exactly what I wanted. You just need to call and ask before you purchase.
Does anyone know when the home games are scheduled? Also, what is this promo code? Do you have to buy before finding out? I’ve tried calling, but all I get is a recording, since I’m up all night and sleep during the day. I’d like to know before buying, like everyone is saying, I may not be able to get the date I need with so many signing up.
I looked up the home games in Norman, all on Saturdays: Sep 18, Oct 16, Oct 30, Nov 13, and there’s one Nov 27 in Stillwater, OK. I’m still on the fence about getting this deal, I’m wanting to use it with another groupon in Oklahoma City, but that one expires Nov 26. With this many sold, getting a cottage on a valid weekend before then seems unlikely, but maybe…

They said to bring the Groupon coupon-how do I print a “coupon”? I just called their number & made the reservation with the Groupon deal because I was out of town & have stayed there before & this is a real sweet deal & I didn’t want to miss out. This is the first time I have actually taken advantage of the Groupon deal.
Hey, I figured it out. Although I called and placed my reservation with Montford for Dec, I still had to go into the Groupon webstie & place my info in to take part in the Groupon deal. Then I was able to print the “coupon”. This was so easy! This is really a great deal & I got the night we were wanting to take advantage of this great offer! This place really is a special place to stay. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as my husband and I have in the past!
