Certified massage therapist Pnina Zoharah performs custom bodywork sessions that call upon her expertise in the Swedish, deep-tissue, neuromuscular, prenatal, gentle-touch, and inner-organ modalities. The treatments are said to have a host of benefits ranging from pain relief and stress reduction to vision enhancement.

Movement and Spirit

Tragedy inspired a career for Pnina Zoharah. In the late 1980s, Pnina’s mother fell ill with multiple sclerosis, and while her family turned to Western medicine for help, Pnina began research of her own. Eventually, she stumbled upon a self-healing book that outlined how one practitioner, Meir Schneider, cured his own blindness. Unfortunately, Pnina’s family did not have the funds to take her mother to see Schneider before her death.

Though her mother was gone, Pnina carried on, moving to San Francisco to study with Schneider and learn about energy work, hands-on healing, and emotional release. Today, she continues on her path, now with several publications and teaching seminars under her belt. She's also the owner and practitioner at Movement and Spirit. Within her relaxation oasis, she administers tailored bodywork sessions using several techniques, from Swedish and deep-tissue to neuromuscular and reiki therapy. Pnina encourages clients to turn to movement for relief with dance and movement therapy, which incorporates slow, gentle, and sometimes unusual movements, and hearkens back to her first understanding of self-healing with yoga for the eyes classes and vision-enhancing bodywork sessions. She even helps with emotional troubles through emotional-release work, spiritual counseling, and spiritual-parenting seminars, which are designed to boost communication between adults and kids.
