Hi Ebony. The additional fees for security varies from vehicle to vehicle. They start at $79. It would be best if you could call our shop at 734-929.1170. If you have a gray key head or if you have keyless entry on the key itself then yes you will need two igition keys for the job and it will require a security bypass. We do them every day and I am with you on the hidden charge thing. I hate when stores lure you in just to find out there are extra fees. If you have keyless entry on your key head then you would just purchase the one button remote start only. If you have a separate transmitter for keyless then you could purchase the one with keyless entry and combine the remote start and keyless.
