$39 for Mud Challenger Entry for One ($99 Value)

On Saturday, August 17, men and women of all skill levels, navigate a 4- to 6-mile course, tackling a variety of Navy Seal– and black op-designed obstacles such as mud pits, ice tanks, and fire jumps. The obstacles and course layout are kept secret, leaving it up to the runners to discover for themselves what lies ahead. Upon completion, runners take home an official event T-shirt, a finish-line medal, a number bib, and complimentary mud stains. They also gain entry to an after party enlivened by live music and complimentary beer.

The run itself takes approximately two hours to complete, with waves of participants launching off at designated times throughout the day. Proceeds from all events benefit Mud Challenger Positive Impact causes, including the Wounded Warriors and GreenSneakers, among others.

Mud Challenger

Facing the unknown can be as scary as it is invigorating. Drawing on this visceral dichotomy, the course organizers at Mud Challenger pepper their 4- to 6-mile courses with a devious array of Navy Seal- and black op-designed obstacles, many of which remain unknown to racers until they encounter them live in the mud-filled field of play. To this end, the only real guarantee at any given Mud Challenger is that participants will gain fitness, get a little dirty, and get as rowdy as they please at a post-race party complete with food, beer, live music, and the chance to make many, many mud angels.

The Groupon Guide to: Cinnamon-Challenge Winners

Known colloquially as the cinnamon challenge, this potentially dangerous but popular dare spawned thousands of online videos wherein people tried to eat an entire spoonful of cinnamon—more difficult than it sounds. Do you have what it takes to join the ranks of these cinnamon-challenge champions?

Huck "Hungry" Kowalczyk: Bravely ate a spoonful of cinnamon even though it was his birthday

"Lovely" Lucy Peters: Inhaled entire spoonful of cinnamon using cinnamon stick as a straw

Brick "The Stick" Bancroft: Didn't even cry or say F words

Gwen "Has a Cousin" Havisham: Never did the cinnamon challenge herself but reportedly has a cousin who ate two things of cinnamon

Doug "Dougie" Durcelli: Heroically dove in front of a spoonful of cinnamon before a dog could eat it and get sick

Who is the greatest cinnamon-challenge champion of all time? Find out in today's Groupon Guide.
