Paintball combines the philosophies from Sun Tzu’s The Art of War with anecdotes from Jackson Pollock's autobiography, I Will Fight Your Painting. Hone combat aesthetics with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

Each person receives an all-day admission valid from dawn to dusk, a helmet, a Tippmann 98 gun with a hopper and CO2 canister, camouflage gloves, coloured armbands, and 100 Draxxus paintballs. Players also get access to the clubhouse, where they can play games such as ping-pong, bocce ball, and horseshoes.

A weather-worn cabin creaks under the weight of new snow. One set of boot prints shuffles toward it, stops, and doubles back into the old-growth forest. In the distance, the muffled pop of gunfire thuds. An accountant stands over a camouflaged figure, his Tippmann 98 pointing at its chest. “I wouldn't waste the paint,” he says, and lowers the barrel.

The Valleyfield Development Corporation expands across more than 140 acres, encompassing Ultimate Paintball Xperience's four playing fields, about 5 acres each. On the Ghost Field, abandoned buildings provide holding positions and storefront space for the emerging theatre companies of poltergeists. Alternatively, the natural terrain of mature forest challenges players' tactics, as the trunks of mature trees become both obstacles and cover for combatants lurking in their shadows.

Beyond the fields, players relax between battles in the clubhouse, shedding rented gear and guns to play games such as ping-pong, pool, indoor basketball, darts, bocce ball, or horseshoes. For large groups, the staff can whip up packages that include throwing backyard-style barbecues.
