$15 for $30 Worth of Pan-Asian Steakhouse Cuisine

Flavors from Japan, Thailand, and China meet on a menu featuring spicy red panang curry dotted with tofu ($7.95 at lunch; $12.95 at dinner); soft-shell crab ($16.95, dinner only); sweet-and-spicy general tso’s chicken ($7.95; $14.95); a selection of sushi such as Rainbow rolls and fresh salmon sashimi; and hibachi entrees, including filet mignon.

NAMI Japanese Steakhouse

Like two restaurants in one, NAMI Japanese Steakhouse affords guests the choice of dining traditionally or teppan-style. Those who choose the former settle into one of the eatery’s dining-room tables and enjoy sushi and any number of Thai or Chinese dishes, including traditional spicy and mild curries—enhanced by shrimp, tofu, or crisp duck—and flavorful staples, such as orange chicken, mongolian beef, and sweet-and-sour pork. Across the room, chefs break free from the kitchen and the ghost haunting it to engage customers seated around a flattop grill in teppan-style eating. They prepare anything from the hibachi menu: filet mignon, lobster, and scallops. As they grill each item in a lively, public display, diners enjoy shrimp appetizers, stir-fried vegetables, and white or fried rice. NAMI shares owners with Origami, which serves a menu of Japanese and Korean cuisine.

The Groupon Guide to: Yo-Yo Tricks

Any fool with one working hand can drag their yo-yo across the kitchen floor in a crudely approximate pantomime of “walking one’s dog.” But it takes a real Yo-Yo Ma (short for Yo-Yo Master) to pull off these incredible tricks:

  • The Upsy Does It
  • The Tall Drink of Water
  • The Kiss from a Yo-Yose
  • The Wake-Up Call I Needed
  • The String Theory (only yo-yo trick that is entirely string based; yo-yo does not enter into equation)
  • The Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)
  • The Shape of Things to Come
  • The Knock a Cigarette out of a Teen’s Mouth (They’ll Thank You for It)
  • Walk the Dog but Blindfolded

Is Yo-Yo Ma really short for Yo-Yo Master? Learn the secrets of the yo-yo in today’s Groupon Guide.
