Brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert menus feature gourmet dishes inspired by the cuisine of wine country. Options include paella with fresh scallops, mussels, halibut, chicken, and spicy sausage in a pimento-tomato sauce ($27) and rosemary garlic half chicken with herbed potato gnocchi ($19). The wine selection features red, white, and dessert wines hailing from California’s wine region ($7.50–$20/glass).

Napa Valley Grille

Like a Greyhound bus traveling at the speed of light, Napa Valley Grille instantly transports visitors from the second floor of the Mall of America between Macy’s and Nordstrom to the vineyards of Napa Valley. The host of this culinary journey is Chef Keven Kvalsten. A mere dishwasher at the age of 17, Keven heard the call of destiny in the form of a chef who decided not to show up for work one day. He was instantly promoted to prep cook, a promotion that led to his enrollment in culinary school and time spent working the restaurant circuit in France. Working in kitchens at night and touring France's wine region by day led to a knowledge and passion for pairing artisan food with wines, which eventually manifested into Napa Valley Grille's menu of grilled fare and gourmet interpretations of risotto, duck, and napkins.

The restaurant’s Napa Valley influences are also echoed in its decor, which boasts brown earth tones, stained wood molding, wine closets with glass doors, and framed artwork of the fabled region. In addition to day and evening dining, Napa Valley Grille also hosts cooking classes and invitation-only events held in one of four private dining rooms.
