At the age at which most children learn to speak, Mozart had already composed four symphonies, restored 11 classic cars, and built a robot to play against in squash. Catch up to Mozart's accomplishments with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $49 for one hour of Music Row mentoring (a $100 value)
Musicians seeking a professional ear for their work send up to three recordings to the Music Row executives at Nashville Demo Studio, then spend an hour absorbing an industry insider’s expert opinions, songwriting advice, and career-building insight.
- $149 for two hours of Hit Songwriter Mentoring (a $350 value)
Aspiring artists can choose any of the studio’s professional songwriters (listed in the side column), who have worked with the likes of Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, the Oak Ridge Boys, and Kenny Rogers, and offer apprenticeship-style mentoring in a two-hour cowriting session.
- $299 for a Platinum songwriter demo (a $600 value)
The platinum-level demo recording session includes the widest range of instrumentation available, including banjo, mandolin, dobro, and all manner of guitar effects. Songwriting clients attend an up to 45-minute-long band recording session in person or online, and can have as much time as needed with their vocalist of choice. A preproduction meeting with the musical team informs the entire process, and afterward, the tracks are mixed and mastered with or without the input of the customer. The production team then delivers the finished product via FTP link, DVD, CD, or the series of pneumatic tubes located under Music Row.
Nashville Demo Studio
When Nashville Demo Studio speaks of its team of hit songwriters and industry professionals, it is no idle boast. Company president and showbiz veteran Jimi Whitelaw oversees a staff that includes Will Rambeaux—who has worked for Faith Hill, Trick Pony, and American Idol—and Billy Montana, whose recent collaborators include Lee Greenwood, Kenny Chesney, and Martina McBride. The studio also supplies instrumentation, vocals, and recording opportunities while leaving copyright ownership and distribution rights firmly in their clients’ hands. Though the stable of musicians skews to Southern-fried genres, they can also ably handle pop, R & B, and countrified interpretations of whale calls. All services are available both in person and online via Skype.
