The three-hour manatee tours depart at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. daily. Patrons make sure that their included wetsuits and snorkels fit properly before watching a US Fish and Wildlife Service video about interacting with manatees. Guides lead the groups to pontoon boats to start the tour. On the ride, patrons may spot bald eagles, dolphins, otters, and other wildlife. Finally, the boat stops near manatees, before passengers jump in the water. The mammoth, slate-gray creatures may approach guests to be gently petted.
