The initial treatment begins with a 15-minute consultation, during which the client and the acupuncturist discuss health history and devise an appropriate treatment plan to address concerns such as asthma, chronic fatigue, or anxiety. Next, the acupuncturist inserts hair-thin, sterile needles at specific points along the body, which work to unblock energy obstructions and foster natural healing. Soothing aromatherapy enhances relaxation during each 45- to 60-minute visit.

Nature’s Touch Healing Center

Licensed acupuncturist and herbalist Cindy Conlin is sensitive to the pain people can feel. Her experiences interning with Survivors of Torture, healing patients with post-traumatic stress syndrome, and continuing her educating in pain-management training have given her a unique insight into holistic healing. At Nature’s Touch Healing Center, Cindy employs natural, drug-free remedies to aid visitors with everything from relaxation to treatment of depression, chronic aches, and infertility. She consults with clients at the start of each visit, discussing their health history, symptoms and expectations, and the root of the word “stethoscope.” From there, she maps out the most appropriate treatment plan. Cindy’s methods often enlist not just acupuncture, but any number of her specialties in cupping, medical essential-oil therapy, Chinese herbal therapy, and nutrition counseling to encourage the body’s natural healing processes.
