After a 20-minute briefing, students take the controls of a Schweizer Model 300 helicopter for a 30-minute introductory flight with a certified instructor. In addition to guiding each flight, the instructor will also demonstrate various maneuvers and explain the principles of helicopter operation.

In addition to serving as mid-air classrooms, choppers also treat students to sky-high sightseeing, with training flights often motoring over New England landmarks including the Cape Cod coastline and cities such as Boston and Providence.
