i had sclerotherapy done 6 wks ago. The Doctor said i might need 2 tx , so do i just buy the $149 for 2 tx? I saw some improvement from my first sclerotherapy so i would like to get another one. I still have a little bit of reticular veins behind my knees, will you be able to include that when i get a treatment?

The expiration date you should ask the groupon company. A sterile detergent is used to cause sclerosis of the veins. I do not charge any extra for reticular veins. The limiting factor at one treatment is the total amount of solution that I can inject. The treatments can be repeated every 3-4 weeks. Compression stockings post treatment for 3 weeks is very important.

How large is the area being treated with a 15 mins session? Would a 15 mins session covers at least one lower leg or a 4" x 4" area in size? Also, how many treatment is required in one area for the spider veins to completely disappear? Thank you so much for your help!

The area covers depends upon the amount of vericose veins you have. No. of treatments also vary. Very rarely one treatment is enough, usually one may need multiple treatments. Compression stocking for three weeks post injection is very important. Spider veins may not completely disappear. They will become less visible but I can't promise complete disappearance.

Each treatment is about 15 minutes. There is a maximum amount of sclerosing agent that can be injected at one time. We can not exceed that amount as it is not safe. For very small spider veins 1 to 2 treatments may be enough but for larger veins more treatments may be needed. One treatment is done on one day. The next treatment is usually done 3 to 4 weeks later.

The initial consultation is included in all the treatments. If a person does not get any treatment then they are charged $80.00 for the consulatation only. but if they do get any treatment then it is included. For the groupon the initial treatment would be included.
