  • $20 for an introductory kayak trip, valid Tuesday–Friday (a $40 value)

Launching from Sellwood Riverfront Park, the 2.5-hour guided expedition up the Willamette River combines a lesson on basic skills and safety with a trip to Ross Island, a wildlife refuge home to great blue herons and ospreys. Though all equipment is included, paddlers should bring their own binoculars for the best views of the birds and license plates of nearby boats.

“Ran into some snags with this Groupon (ie: availability dates for SUP lessons were posted incorrectly on the Groupon & by the beginning of Sept they were only offering the class on an extremely limited basis even tho the Groupon stated M-F). Called the company directly & spoke with a "floor manager" who was condescending & argumenttive with me about the stated dates & my options. In the end I spoke with the guy who runs the actual paddle board classes and he was great- polite & very helpful- resolved the issue with me quikcly & I was happy with the end results.”
