The 2.5-hour America's Cup Sailing Race lets you experience a thrilling match race from aboard an 80-foot America's Cup–class sailing yacht. During this one-of-a-kind excursion, you'll have the option to help the crew man the wheel or grind the winches to pull ahead of the other boat's bow. Or, you can sit back and enjoy light snacks and BYOB or cash-bar beverages as you root for your vessel to take the lead.

During four-hour Blue Whale Sunset Sails, passengers scout marine life from the magestic 139-foot vessel, America. Passengers are invited to bring their own adult beverage and enjoy complimentary light snacks and soft drinks or purchase cash-bar drinks.

For both trips, passengers should arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. Each excursion includes free admission and a guided tour through the Maritime Museum. Guests should bring cameras, sunscreen, a hat, soft-sole shoes, and a jacket in case it gets chilly. Check out the FAQ for more information.

Next Level Sailing

Next Level Sailing introduces visitors to the stunning maritime landscape of San Diego with chartered cruises, hands-on sailing races, whale-watching excursions, and ritzy boat parties. Crew members lead complementary tours through the San Diego Maritime Museum before guiding wedding parties, company get-togethers, and private groups aboard stately yachts sip BYOB drinks and dine on light snacks.

During whale-watching expeditions, passengers witness the majesty of blue whales in their natural habitat on board the 139-foot vessel America, the ship that gave its name to the America's Cup race. Next Level's fleet includes two smaller vessels, Stars and Stripes and Abracadabra, used for America's Cup–style sailing races. During this unique experience, passengers learn the literal and figurative ropes of these speedy sailing ships as they compete head-to-head with their sister yacht and ward off Viking attacks.
