$35 for five 30-minute beginners' golf lessons for youths ($75 value) $49 for five 30-minute beginners' golf lessons for adults ($99 value) $129 for six 90-minute advanced golf lessons for adults with instructional video and swing-reader evaluation ($350 value)

One-on-one beginners' classes (held Tuesday and Thursday) are for students with no or little knowledge about golf. Students learn the rules and history of the game, and clubs are provided. One-on-one advanced classes (held Wednesday–Friday) allow more experienced players to develop their games. A swing-reader evaluation is performed at the first, middle, and last lesson to gauge progress. Students also get a rule book and instructional video. Golf clubs are provided, and students are measured for clubs at their final lesson so they can purchase the right ones.

North Carolina Golf Academy

The instructors at North Carolina Golf Academy welcome students of all stripes. They might coach pro golfers, casual players, or "Dew Sweepers"—a term for golfers' partners who want a quick introduction to the game so they can join their partners on the course. Their classes cover technical tips and swing analyses, as well as the history of golf, leading to a well-rounded appreciation of the sport. And, if students can't come to them, they can bring their simulators and putting machines to corporate offices and schools.
