The Fine Print

Contrary to popular belief, boats are actually much safer than cars, which inexplicably sink every time you drive them on water. Take a proper water road ride with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $33 for a whale-watching tour for one child (a $64.63 value)
  • $43 for a whale-watching tour for one adult (a $86.17 value)

The cruises take place from December through May, departing from the Haleiwa Boat Harbor at noon. During the 2.5-hour cruise, passengers get the chance to see humpback whales in their breeding grounds and listen to their singing on an underwater hydrophone. Adults are required to wear life jackets and hold children four years old or younger at all times in accordance with Coast Guard regulations.

North Shore Catamaran

Up to 19 passengers sit comfortably on North Shore Catamaran's 40-foot sailing vessel, the Ho’o Nanea, which Captain Don Germain steers along Oahu’s scenic shores. The catamaran’s name means “to pass the time in ease and comfort,” an apt phrase, as guests will find the day quickly and serenely passes when they’re onboard. North Shore can charter the boat for snorkeling adventures in Waimea Bay or for romantic BYOB sunset sails.

The Groupon Guide to: Monster Weaknesses

Everyone knows that the world is plagued with real monsters, from bullying to illiteracy—but the world is also plagued by even realer monsters, from vampires to swampmen. Fortunately, you can defeat any beast real or imagined with this list of their monster weaknesses:

Monster: Werewolves
Weakness: Silver. Although silver bullets are a traditional means of felling the feral beast, blindly chucking your grandmother’s jewelry into the forest will poison their habitat for generations.

Monster: Vampires
Weakness: Wooden Steak. The vampires will foolishly bite into the delicious-looking “steak,” thus breaking off their fangs and rendering them helpless.

Monster: Zombies
Weakness: Your Friend Who Has a Goatee. He has been training his whole life for this moment. Time to shine, Zachary.

What are some surprising ways to defeat a werewolf?

  • The crew was great and we had a lot of fun. We got to see a few whales at a distance. We even saw some dolphins swimming next to the boat.
