NYC Bagel Deli transports the taste and feel of Big Apple eateries to the Windy City streets, a calling that earned it a Boar’s Head “Deli of Distinction” title. Its three locations sell more than 1,000 bagels a day, topped with poppy seeds, sesame seeds, onion, or pretzel salt, and slathered in homemade cream cheeses made on the premises. The sandwich menu’s half-pound corned beef reuben and Benny roast beef sandwich, named after the Chicago Bulls mascot, come folded between halves of bagel, slices of bread, or cross sections of a gingerbread house. The eateries’ authentic New York–style pizza, meanwhile, can sate appetites by the slice or via whole pies, with classic toppings including pepperoni, green peppers, and grilled chicken.
