Choose Between Two Options

  • $50 for a three-hour NYSee Christmas Lights Tour for one (a $100 value)
  • $95 for a three-hour NYSee Christmas Lights Tour for two (a $200 value)

The tour will meet behind the Edward Bennett Williams "The Two Bell Ringers" monument in the center Herald Square on 35th Street between 6th Avenue and Broadway.

The NYSee Christmas Lights Tour begins in Herald Square, adjacent to the extravagant window displays at Macy’s. After all noses have been unstuck from the glass, guests will board a bus to Brooklyn’s Dyker Heights, a historically Italian neighborhood that boasts mechanical sculptures, large-scale figures, and lights displays to rival almost any in Manhattan. Before cruising back across the Manhattan Bridge, the bus stops at Fulton Ferry Landing to take in skyline views. A final stop in Greenwich Village lets guests sample Christmas cheer up close, with time to stop into small shops and cafés and crane their necks up at Washington Square Park’s giant Christmas tree. Tours start just as the lights are coming into full bloom at 7 p.m., beginning on Monday, November 26, and continuing seven days a week through the winter holidays; call for specific availability.

NYSee Tours

NYSee Tours explores renowned sights in New York City with two combination bus-and-walking tours, each led by effusive guides who flavor the sights with history, anecdotes, and their distinct personalities. Under the direction of owner and lifelong New Yorker Fred Pflantzer, they lead tours to prominent destinations including Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, Greenwich Village, and the Statue of Liberty's childhood home.

The Get Acquainted tour shepherds tour-goers through Manhattan and ends back at the starting point after an escorted subway ride, which illuminates the subterranean realities of NYC life. On the Two Borough tour, passengers take in the island’s sights from the New York water taxi before stopping in the historic neighborhood of DUMBO, wedged between the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. While most of the sights are described in English, NYSee tours can provide a guide for patrons who speak a different language, such as Spanish or Klingon.
