Boat captains must master nautical lexicon before sailing the seas to ensure that they can distinguish port, which means left, from starboard, which means launch the vessel into deep space. Count down to a sea launch with this Groupon.

$22 for a Speedboat Ride for One Adult ($45 Value)

The 90-minute speedboat rides run three times daily: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Customers will also receive a 50% off fishing coupon for the Orlando Princess or Canaveral Start II for each Groupon purchased.

Ocean Racer Speed Boat Tours

Ocean Racer Speed Boat Tours’ 65-foot boat glides through the surf, whipping along the coastlines of Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. A U.S. Coast Guard-certified captain helms each of the vessel’s 90-minute tours, which speed through the surf three times daily, much like fish escaping to the beach during shark mealtimes.

Orlando Princess

Sister ships Orlando Princess and Canaveral Star II disembark from Cape Canaveral for daily fishing trips. The 80- and 85-foot vessels set sail with an experienced crewmember and soon-to-be seafarers equipped with fishing licenses, rods, reels, tackle, and bait. Full- and half-day excursions let fisherpeople hunt for mangrove snapper, grouper, and sea bass, and nighttime shark-fishing trips give them the opportunity to seek out bigger game. After catching a respectable haul, patrons can relax on the sun deck or in air-conditioned cabins and indulge in included hot meals. They’ll also get unlimited beer or soda that tastes better than seawater, which is mostly made up of mermaid spit.

The Groupon Guide to: Friends Spinoffs

Now that Friends spinoff and ratings juggernaut Joey has finished its critically acclaimed eighth season, here’s a look back at some of the less successful Friends spinoffs:

Chandler, etc. — Smart aleck Chandler gets more than he bargains for when the flea-market sofa he bargains for also contains a deed to Windberry Manor—the most haunted mansion in town.

Buffay of Lies — After a comical hunting accident claims the life of her sister Ursula, sweet-natured but ditzy Phoebe permanently assumes the role of her deceased twin.

Ramona’s Here — Entitled Ramona gets her famous haircut again, but that won’t help her adapt to marriage with a small-town Florida sheriff played by DJ Qualls.

Now That’s Ross! — Pathetic, bumbling nerd Ross is framed for arson and sent to prison, where his book smarts are no match for his fellow inmates’ relentless fear tactics.

Bing! — A second attempt at a Chandler spinoff. This time he runs a hotel and there’s a bell that always makes the sound of his name.

Central Pork — Live, costumed pigs reenact “The One Where Monica and Richard Are Just Friends.”

Which Friends spinoff featured a cast of mostly ghosts?
