About Ocean State Safety
Throughout his years as a firefighter and EMT, American Heart Association-certified instructor Chris Albro lends a hand in countless medical emergencies. He and his fellow emergency workers are often the first on the scene of an accident, and have training in a number of situations to care for those in harm’s way, no matter the threat. In addition to helping those in need, Chris decided to embark on a new mission—teaching others how to help those in need.
As Ocean State Safety's head instructor, Chris now also ventures to clients' homes and businesses to lead emergency classes that prepare parents, grandparents, and professionals for a multitude of emergencies. His CPR/AED certification classes show students how to provide basic medical aid to others and earn them two years of AHA certification. Basic Life-Support sessions teach techniques for a slew of medical situations, and HAZWOPER lessons equip students with the know-how necessary to handle hazardous waste in their workplace and wine stains on shag carpets.
