$15 for $30 Worth of Sushi

This deal consists of three vouchers, each of which is valid for $10 worth of sushi. Only one voucher may be used per visit.

Signature maki includes crunchy shrimp rolls ($6) and kira kira, a mix of spicy tuna, lettuce, cucumber, green onion, wasabi soy-sauce, and sesame seeds ($8). Customers can also design their own rolls, starting with tuna rolls ($8) or smoked salmon rolls ($9.50) and adding extras such as brown rice ($.50), cream cheese ($1), or spicy sprouts (first three vegetables free, $.50 each thereafter). The idea for sushi restaurant Oh Fish came in a sandwich shop. As chef Kaz Okochi moved through the line choosing his bread and toppings, he realized: why not sushi? He spent years figuring out how to translate the concept of customization to the sushi market (not to mention how to incorporate the diversity of ingredients he had encountered in Osaka). Starting with bases such as spicy salmon or shrimp salad, they add veggies such as cucumber, kimchee, cilantro, or carrots. They continue with sauces, making tough decisions between wasabi soy sauce and spicy mayo before finishing with bread crumbs, sesame seeds, or Japanese chili-powder.
