When does a new beginner class start?

If you look in the editorial section, end of first paragraph, there is a link for you to view the schedule. There are a few options for the beginner Yoga classes, one this coming Sunday. If you have any other questions, please feel free to post them here.

How do you schedule classes online by using the Groupon?

Hi Kathleen,

We have ongoing beginner classes, including Yoga 1 (Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) as well as Gentle Yoga (Mondays and Wednesdays) and Restorative Yoga (Fridays and Saturdays).

We’ll also be offering a new Yoga Fundamentals 10-week session starting on Thursday, April 15th, from 7:30-9pm. However, you cannot use your Groupon for enrollment sessions, only for drop-in classes.

Hi Nazia,

Once you’ve redeemed your Groupon, you’ll have the 5 class credit in your account, and can schedule your classes online or just show up to the studio for any drop-in class. You can schedule online using our WebScheduler: http://clients.mindbodyonline.com/ws.asp?studioid=1185&stype=-7. Feel free to create your own personal account!

Are the classes co-ed?

Hi Sarah, thanks for replying. You stated: “Once you’ve redeemed your groupon…” How do you redeem it? Do you have to go in for that?

Hey Nazia,

You should receive an email that with the subject heading “Purchase Confirmed”. If you click on the email, you can see your personal voucher with your Groupon ID# and redemption instructions. Then you can create your own account using the link Sarah pasted above & Sign up for your class. Just remember to bring your Groupon with you to your first class.

If you have not received that email yet, please give it a few hours for your transaction to be complete. You can also login to your Groupon Account and in the right hand corner you will see a tab “My Stuff” and if you click on that, you will see another tab “My Groupons”. Here you can see all the Groupons you have purchased.

Yes, our classes are co-ed. Of course there are typically many more women than men, but we have a wonderful population of gentlemen in our vibrant yoga community. One of the primary instructors (and the owner) is also a man. Everyone is welcome!

Nazia — you won’t be able to sign up online until you either print and bring your Groupon into the studio, or if you’d like access to your 5 class pass before coming by in person, create an account and then forward me your groupon, to sarah@olneyyoga.com, and I would be happy to activate it in your account. I’ll reply and let you know when it’s ready to use.
