On The Avenue Spa by Woody Michleb, the latest project by the eponymous stylist and his wife, Amy, provides more than just a few haircuts and spa treatments—it's a full-fledged experience. “If you're like every salon that's been around for the past fifty years, you're not giving the client something to come in for,” Amy, a former contestant on Shear Genius, told Salon Magazine.

So it's no surprise that On The Avenue Spa is anything but dated. As with all of Woody's enterprises, crisp white unfurls throughout the entire space, blanketing the walls, chairs, and ceilings to create a futuristic vibe—but without the scientists explaining how the only thing faster than light is a scientist's rate of speaking. However, instead of laser beams, natural sunlight illuminates the space, just as Woody intended. “It creates really good lighting when you're working on clients, and brings out the colour,” he said in Salon Magazine. Inside this smartly designed space, the Michlebs' trusted team member Franko oversees all hair products, drawing from an arsenal of products by Wella, Kérastase, and, of course, Woody Michleb Hair Care.
