When a comedy club, concert hall, sports stadium, or expo center hasn't sold all its tickets, and it's too late to break out the venue shrink ray, the venue relies on OTL to make sure the house is as full as possible. Calling itself the "comp ticket underground," OTL takes those extra seats and offers them to its members for no cost beyond the annual membership fee. In other words, members get a year's worth of mystery events for one flat rate. That way, attendees get to see all kinds of shows, events organizers get to show off their venues, and chair makers never get the dejected feeling that their work is going unappreciated.
