More people than ever are living a sedentary lifestyle: waking up in their racecar beds, driving to work in their racecars, sitting for eight hours in the passenger seats of experimental racecars as men in lab coats slam them into concrete walls, and then driving home again. Race to fitness with this Groupon.

Choose Between Two Options

  • $35 for 10 Zumba classes (a $70 value)
  • $19 for 5 Zumba classes (a $40 value)

During music-filled Zumba sessions, instructors demonstrate latin-inspired steps designed to slim physiques and enhance energy. In Zumba Toning classes, they intersperse energetic dance routines with targeted body-sculpting exercises using lightweight-maraca toning sticks. The instructors also offer specialty Zumba Gold classes for baby boomers and Zumbatomic classes for kids. See the calendar for class schedules.

On The Move Fitness & Wellness

Whenever Amber Roberge was feeling stressed, sad, or lonely, she would slip into her dancing shoes and head to Zumba class. Once the lively latin rhythms began to play and Amber began to dance, she would forget her troubles and feel her energy soar. Hoping to spread Zumba’s grin-inducing effects with her community, Amber went on to spearhead a Zumba studio of her own—On The Move Fitness & Wellness.

Amid the bright-colored walls of the warm space, Amber and her team of fellow licensed instructors lead students through energetic Zumba workouts. Lively latin and international gospel music fills the air as the group tackles various steps, spins, and body-sculpting exercises. When describing the classes to reporters from South Portland-Cape Elizabeth Sentry, Amber explained, “It is not about getting the moves down perfectly. I only have two rules for my classes. One: keep moving; and two: have fun!” Amber and her instructors welcome students of all ages and experience levels, even offering specialty classes for seniors and kids. Dedicated to fostering healthy habits beyond the classroom, the staff stocks the studio with nutritional products and hosts wellness workshops to discourage unhealthy habits, such as eating processed foods or insisting that your goldfish is your only friend.

The Groupon Guide to: Empty 2-Liter Soda Bottles

Everyone loves drinking soda pop straight out of 2-liter bottles, but when the soda pop is all gone, you've got to recycle that empty plastic container, a process that can be awful and horrible. Make the end as fun as the beginning with these tips for hanging on to those empties and using them for fun:

  • Play sports with them. An empty 2-liter bottle is the perfect object to use as a whiffle-ball bat or a weird basketball that's incredibly frustrating to use.

  • Turn them into pieces of art. You can do this by filling them with just about anything because most art isn't very good.

  • Bring them to a sporting event and use the bottles as thunder sticks, which are those hollow, cylindrical plastic objects that fans bang together to signal to each other when they should all be quiet for a key play.

  • Throw them up in the air and see if they float!

  • Recycle them the easy, painless way: by just throwing them away in the garbage.

Is a 2-liter bottle filled with roast beef considered art?
