The Discovery Flight begins with in-depth preflight instruction on the ground from an FAA-certified instructor followed by a 30-minute flight aboard a Robinson R22 Beta II helicopter with the participant at the controls. Following a path outlined by the LA Live Tour, instructor and participant will soar past such landmarks as the downtown skyline, the Stables Center, Kodak Theater, Dodger Stadium, and the Hollywood sign. Once safely back on land, the participant will receive a certificate of flight completion, a commemorative photo, and an promotional DVD.
