The artists at Ouch Studios transmit years of artistic experience in the form of unique body art, drawing upon a range of interests. As the shop's driving force, Troy Christensen strives to provide a shop that creates quality body art at a reasonable price. Arron MacKeogh embraces the challenge of drafting and inking custom creations, from portraits of Che Guevara to designs from Alice in Wonderland. Alex Lees gives nod to the horror genre with movie monsters and villains, and Stephanie Wilkins adorns blank skin with designs that have, as the studio puts it, "that feminine touch."

The staff looks out for client safety during each step of the process, beginning with a hand-wash sink adjacent to every station. Brand-new disposable tubes, needles, and ink caps with every tattoo service prevents any chance of cross-contamination or winding up with the same tattoo as the last customer. Afterward, the team seals the used material in a medical-grade container before properly disposing of it.
