Traversing 7-mile stretches of the Pemigewasset River, kayak tours are separated into two difficulty levels: the more challenging upper river, which includes Class I and II rapids, and the smoother, more languid Class I rapids of the lower river. For the ATV tour, pairs don helmets and mount Polaris, Kawasaki, or Arctic Cat vehicles after thorough instruction. Guides then lead them into rugged terrain featuring wooded trails, river views, and a private pond and sand dune. After the kayak or ATV tour, groups refuel with a barbecue and can continue the feast by redeeming a discount at Woodstock Station.
