The acne facial does include extractions, but microdermabrasion does not. Microdermabrasion uses a diamond-tip wand to remove dead skin. I hope this helps clarify!

Thanks for your interest! They would not recommend microdermabrasion for a 17 year-old, but they can opt for the acne facial instead.
