In a studio that hosts up to 12 students, instructors arm their pupils with one pound of clay and ample instruction to create their own pot or plate. After students sculpt their pieces, they leave them behind for up to two weeks while they dry. Once the clay has been baked, students return to paint their facades before waiting one more week so staffers can fire their creations a second time.

PaintMe Pottery Studio

PaintMe Pottery Studio hosts pottery classes, deals in original creations, and takes orders for custom clayware. The owner—a fine arts graduate from Texas Tech University and elementary school teacher—leads guests in painting prefabricated items. The studio's central location provides access via Hwy 183 and Lamar Boulevard, and hosts painting parties and summer camps.
