From July 17 to 19, kids 6–16 will experience hands-on lessons that cover such topics as veterinary care, mounting and dismounting, and how to shoe a horse. These interactive lessons also include educational arts and crafts, and equine-themed games. Camp is held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and students must come dressed in riding clothes and with their own lunch, snack, and water jug.
Palermo Show Stable
The training home of grand prix rider Osvaldo Ornia Pacher, Palermo Show Stable is a full-service hunter, jumper, and equitation facility. The stable staff trains riders young and old in English-style riding and even offers training sessions for horses and people in convincing horse costumes.
