$175 for a Fly-Fishing Trip and Lesson for Two (Up to $364 Value)

  • Four-hour fly-fishing trip for two (a $320 value)
  • Includes fishing-license fees (up to a $24 value)

During each half-day trip, anglers spend four hours on either the Provo or Weber River with a fly-fishing expert, learning to snag species such as brown or rainbow trout. Along with licenses and all necessary gear—including tackle, waders, boots, fly rods, and reels—the guides provide snacks and drinks so pairs don’t have to chew on skipping stones all afternoon.

Park City Anglers

After moving to Utah in 1997, Will Westrate got right to work, assembling a team of fishing experts to lead expeditions along the Provo and Weber Rivers. Each of Will’s hand-picked guides have tallied more than 1,000 days of fly fishing on the local waterways, utilizing their knowledge to mimic seasonal food sources and catch fish on their way back from shopping. The Park City Anglers also regularly explore the Strawberry, Duchesne, and Currant Creek, as well as some smaller streams and tributaries throughout the region.

The Groupon Guide to: Tricking Your Kids into Eating Vegetables

Kids don't want to eat vegetables because vegetables aren't fun. Make legumes laughably fun with these tips for preparing vegetables:

  • Put black beans on circular slices of potato to give your kids healthier "chocolate-chip cookies."

  • Cut corn off the cob and offer their picky palates some "rotten goblin teeth."

  • Mash yams and your young ones will be thrilled to eat "a very sick man's innards."

  • An avocado kind of looks like a hand grenade.

  • Remove the strings from celery. Kids will voluntarily eat celery if it's not strung like some kind of ridiculous violin.

Mom, can I have seconds of goblin teeth?
