Learning to silkscreen means you’ll never have the same clothes as anyone else, except for the guy who keeps setting his equipment up behind you and copying what you're doing. Try not to let him bother you with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $89 for a silk-screening workshop for clothing (a $179 value)
- $50 for $100 toward custom women’s clothing and accessories
For the workshop, students may choose between the DIY Party Dress class or the Famous & Amazing Silkscreen class. The Famous & Amazing class runs from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. with additional studio time until 10 p.m., and includes unlimited use of all materials until 10 p.m. The DIY Party Dress class is similar, but with a focus on party attire. Please contact Peach Berserk for more details about that class.
Peach Berserk’s collection of apparel and accessories are all made in-house from hand-dyed fabrics with original prints or silkscreened designs. Fashions include the classic stretch dress ($129), funky tights ($69), and happening hoodies ($79) any of which can be customized with a choice of fabric color and more than 200 prints. The party dresses are especially popular, such as the strapless rocker girl ($495) with a crinoline underlay.
When it comes to using fashion as a way to illustrate personality, Peach Berserk owner Kingi believes people can push their creativity further. At her fabric and fashion showroom, she designs prints, makes silkscreens, and hand-paints fabrics, which anyone can use to commission custom clothing cut and sewn on-site. Kingi’s silk party dresses are among her most popular pieces, which range from retro-inspired styles such as the Ladies Who Lunch cocktail dress to the all-out glam of the floor-length Glamour Girl. She also encourages clients to embrace their own creative energies—during her silkscreen workshops, you can learn to print an original design on tees, fabric, each other’s faces, and of course, dresses.
