During the 2- to 2.5-hour retexturizing treatment, stylists douse heads with Aveda's plant-based smoothing formula. Containing no formaldehyde, the formula uncoils curls with a minimum of 74% naturally derived chemicals, leaving hair looking shiny and free of frizz. Organic botanicals then condition the hair, significantly reducing drying and styling time. Treatment is not advisable for very coarse or ethnic hair.
