Wine-tasting technique demands that you first swirl the glass, then take a sip, and then very slowly dribble wine down your chin so that the rest of your body can taste it. Imbibe elegance with this Groupon.

Held on Saturday, September 7, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the grounds of Penn's Colony, Wine Time at the Colony will feature tastings from more than seven local wineries and three Pennsylvania growing regions. A variety of local vendors will peddle crab cakes, gourmet snacks, and crafts, while live musicians fill the air with festive tunes. Groupon customers receive numerous wine tastings and a souvenir wineglass.
The annual Penn's Colony Festival replicates an early American colonial village, with lively 18th-century bagpipe music, French and Indian War battle reenactments, and interactive activities such as basket-weaving and nine-pin bowling. More than 180 artisans congregate at the sprawling, tree-shaded colonial village, setting up booths with furniture, art, and gifts. Meanwhile, local gourmet-food vendors hawk smoked sausages, apple dumplings, and beef stew. Throughout the year, the colony's grounds are available for special events such as a one-day wine festival held in June and September, antique shows, retreats, and weddings, at which unruly uncles can be confined in a pillory.
