Questions and Answers

What is the difference between the hyperpigmentation facial and the photo facial? Don't they both aim to correct discoloration (sun/dark spots)?

Danielle D. asked 7 months, 9 days, 2 hours, and 30 minutes ago - 1 answer

Eric P.

Photofacial is a medical procedure using a laser and results will be much faster and it will also target any vascular issues. The hyperpig facial is done by estheticians and will address the same issues but the process is slower and may not be as effective depending on how extensive the pigment is on the face. The best is to get the facial followed by the photofacial as it has been shown to get the ultimate results.

Hello, Will the photo facial help lighten the dark areas under my eyes? Thanks

Catherine asked 7 months, 9 days, 16 hours, and 6 minutes ago - 1 answer

Eric P.

No, as they are not caused by hyperpigmentation

Eric P. answered 7 months, 9 days, 15 hours, and 55 minutes ago

What is a photo facial? Also, regarding the other type offered, is this a normal regular facial where the Esthetician steams applies products, does a dermabrasion treatment, and apply a mask. I've never heard of a facial that does not include you neck, hands, and feet.

Eric P.

Sorry, your answer is below and the additional charge for neck area on the Hyperpigmentation facial is $30. These are very specific for the condition of hyperpigmentation. This is not a spa facial.

Eric P. answered 7 months, 11 days, 16 hours, and 17 minutes ago

Do you happen to know what the charge is to include the neck area? Thank you!

Robin E. asked 7 months, 11 days, 16 hours, and 31 minutes ago - 1 answer

Eric P.

Photofacial is a medical procedure using a laser to help lift pigment & reds (brown spots & and red vascular issues) from the face. Results will vary with each patient but the goal is to lighten or completely remove the area in question. No esthetician is involved and it is nothing like a regular spa facial. Go to palomarmedical.com for more detailed information.

Do these deals include the neck area? Thanks!

Robin E. asked 7 months, 11 days, 17 hours, and 7 minutes ago - 1 answer

Eric P.

Face only and you add the neck for a small up charge.

Eric P. answered 7 months, 11 days, 16 hours, and 56 minutes ago

What type of salon is this? Under the description it sounds like the place is staffed by nurses. For the facials, who performs the procedure? What type of products do they use, and how long is each facial?

lynda t. asked 7 months, 11 days, 17 hours, and 31 minutes ago - 1 answer

Eric P.

This is a Medical Spa and Estheticians do the facials and nurse practitioners and nurses do the photofacials
