Shuttles carry customers and kayaks or canoes from Jimmy's Grill to a launch point along the river and back. Groups may bring along a cooler filled with their favorite beverages (no glass containers) and can also choose to camp overnight. Even during ocean closures, river waters remain open and navigable, provided that weather cooperates. Children younger than 11 and dogs who tag along are free.

Kayaking was a blast! It was the first time for 3 out of the 4 of us. Kayaks & life vests were provided. We spent about 3 glorious hours on the river. The water was cool and refreshing, lazy river speed. They could improve directions. We eventually met up with the coordinator near a church, would have been easier to have been given that address and use GPS rather than multiple verbal directions.

We had a great time kayaking!! Will was a wonderful host!! He was a pleasure to talk to and very kind. He made sure we made it there and back home safely. He kept us updated with the conditions of the river and was genuinely a great person to do business with!! It’s a public river so there were other families around but that just enhanced the experience. I will return!!

The most amazing experience! The river is clean and very clear. Not only were they very informative, but they called while we were on the river to make sure we were safe and not having any problems! I 100% would use this company again.
