After clients return and put on the hairpiece, Permanent Cosmetic Solutions' staff styles the hair and issues a care kit, which includes maintenance instructions, shampoo, conditioner, adhesive remover, and adhesive. The hairpiece can stay on for four to six weeks at a time, and clients may shower, play sports and keep active during that time. Clients can clean it themselves or have it spruced up at Permanent Cosmetic Solutions for $85. Hairpieces typically last more than a year.
