A Veinwave device diminishes the appearance of small veins on the face, ears, and nose with a quick blast of thermal energy.

Alabama Vascular and Vein Center

In an interview with Daytime Alabama, Drs. John Kingsley and Melanie Petro espoused the importance of feeling good in one's own skin. They help the process along at Alabama Vascular and Vein Center by clearing skin of spider and varicose veins with modern treatments, including CoolTouch lasers, sclerotherapy, and the Veinwave’s short pulses of thermal energy.

Dr. Kingsley, who founded and directs the center's five locations, is a board-certified phlebologist and teacher. He's developed surgical techniques using both lasers and ultrasound technology, which remains the favored treatment for turned-around bats. These methods have been taught to myriad physicians, including Dr. Petro—a board-certified otolaryngologist and fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon who performs vein surgery at the center.

The Groupon Guide to: Knowing When to Quit

Sometimes it's better just to quit now than to see it through and find out what it feels like to be a winner (they're eternally happy). Here are some examples of times when you should quit:

  • You're ahead.
  • You're last.
  • You feel like you might throw up.
  • They're giving personal pan pizzas to everyone who quits.
  • Your mentor has downgraded you from "protégé" to "ongoing frustration."
  • You have a chance to create a new identity for yourself in a small New England town if you just walk away now.
  • Quitting is "your thing," according to all of your past fiancés.
  • No one wants you to win because you're a villain, and for you, winning means selling a bunch of elementary schools to an evil corporation that will turn them into recycling centers.

Hi, I'm Stiven Knatts, and I'm glad to be here in Hidden Town, Rhode Island.
