During basic manicures and pedicures, nail technicians shape and trim fingernails and toenails before soaking and polishing them with a desired colour. Technicians can also coat nails with long-lasting Shellac polish, which fights chipping and fading longer than regular nail polish.

When the nearby Fallsview Casino caught on to Vincent Petti’s talents, developed over his more than 35 years in the beauty industry, its staff started having him come and do hair for visiting celebrities. To date, his star clientele has included Olivia Newton-John, Michael Bublé, Emily Blunt, and Andrea Bocelli, among others. But Vincent and his team don't reserve star treatment for stage-bound clients. They transform everyday looks with flattering cuts and colours, as well as add modelesque glam with hair extensions.
